Matcha making experience & Japanese tea tasting experience plan (breakfast not included)

A former tea farmer who grew Uji tea in Kyoto for six years will tell you about the fun and depth of Japanese tea. You can enjoy 10 types of Japanese tea at once: two types of matcha, four types of sencha, hojicha, genmaicha, and wakocha. Our staff, who are well versed in the history and cultivation methods of Japanese tea, as well as how to use and enjoy it, will guide you. ① Meet at the experience location Location: Henn na Hotel Asakusa Tawaramachi 2F Date and time: Check-out day ① 9:30–11:00 or ② 11:30–13:00 Please choose your desired experience time. ② Enjoy a welcome drink First, quench your thirst with a welcome drink. While drinking the welcome drink, you will listen to an explanation about Japanese tea and learn about the tea you will enjoy today. ③ Taste comparison of sencha, genmaicha, and hojicha A former tea farmer will provide you with three types of Japanese tea brewed in a way that brings out the best flavor of the tea. After you have seen the color and shape of the tea leaves, we will brew and serve the tea, so you can enjoy comparing the color, aroma, and taste of the tea. ④ Serving of Japanese black tea and homemade sweets We will serve sweets made by a matcha sweets enthusiast who has eaten matcha sweets at 900 stores nationwide and knows all about delicious things, along with Japanese black tea. We chose the best Japanese black tea to pair with the sweets. Please enjoy its deliciousness, which is a little different from that of Chinese or Indian tea. ⑤ Matcha tea making experience Finally, you will experience making matcha tea yourself using a tea whisk. After the experience, you will be able to make matcha tea at home. ⑥ Disbandment We will also provide you with information about recommended spots in Tokyo.
