At "Ikeda Gankodo", located a 4-minute walk from Henn na Hotel Nara, you can make your own "Nara Uchiwa (Japanese fan)" with a history of 1,300 years☆ Nara is famous for its World Heritage sites, but it also has many other attractions. Established over 170 years ago, "Ikeda Gankodo" is the only Nara Uchiwa (Japanese fan) specialty store in Japan. Why not learn more about the history and charm of Nara through making a fan? [Contents] ☆Duration: Approximately 2 hours ☆Details of the work process and history will be explained in detail while looking at tools and panels. ☆You will experience "openwork carving" and "pasting" using cutters and glue. ☆Completion ☆The craftsman will finish the fan and mail it to your home at a later date.
